A plague of shadows has swept across the land, turning innocent creatures into terrible monsters. One champion remains to battle the darkness and return the world to the light: Niko. Along with her little brother Max and the ever-reliable Brock, this pack of Pokémon Trainers begin pursuing their dreams—with Ash racking up three Gym Badges, while May changes tack to follow the Contest path of a Pokémon Coordinator.

The show stars Timon and Pumbaa, both characters from the film, The Lion King. Taking place after the events of the film, the characters are normally seen having misadventures in the jungle and across the globe in various settings.

When new Decepticons appear, Optimus Prime summons Bumblebee and gives him the task of saving Earth. To help him, the veteran Autobot assembles a rogue team of young bots to capture the new enemies. The new Autobot recruits include a rebel “bad boy,” an elite guard cadet, a bombastic dinobot and a hyperactive mini-con. The recruits provide a challenge for Bumblebee because, while each is a fully capable hero, they are inexperienced when it comes to working as a team. So Bumblebee has to learn how to balance his role as a leader of the new squad with his job of fighting evil forces as he works to complete the mission.

This season continues the research fellowship adventures of Ash Ketchum, Goh and Chloe, as they travel across all eight regions, including the new Galar region and the Galar region’s Crown Tundra from based at Cerise Laboratory in Vermillion City in the Kanto region. Ash ascends through the ranks of the World Coronation Series and Goh continues his work with Project Mew.
