The show stars Timon and Pumbaa, both characters from the film, The Lion King. Taking place after the events of the film, the characters are normally seen having misadventures in the jungle and across the globe in various settings.

There is no such thing as an uneventful day in the life of kindergartener Shinnosuke “Shin-chan” Nohara. Due to this shirt being the only one that Hiroshi has kept in good shape, he is forced to wear it everyday, interacting with Pyonkichi and becoming friends.
