This season continues the research fellowship adventures of Ash Ketchum, Goh and Chloe, as they travel across all eight regions, including the new Galar region and the Galar region’s Crown Tundra from based at Cerise Laboratory in Vermillion City in the Kanto region. Ash ascends through the ranks of the World Coronation Series and Goh continues his work with Project Mew.

The search for Sana’s comrades continues. Sara who opens up her heart to Sinbad reveals her horrible story of how her father’s apprentice Galip destroyed the peaceful kingdom and her family by using the wizardly power. Suddenly the Magic Lamp shows the passage “to the Wonder Gate to the land of ancestors that appears in the Night at High Noon,” but Galip’s solders block their path.

Ash and his two friends Iris and Cilan help a Keldeo battle against a powerful Dragon-type Pokémon named Kyurem its his test to become a Sacred Swordsman.

Fourteen years after Third Impact, Shinji Ikari awakens to a world he does not remember. He hasn’t aged. Though he still has an errand to run for Professor Oak, Ash jumps with both feet into the Johto League, taking on a couple of Gym Leaders and adding Pokémon like Totodile and Chikorita to his team.

The Noharas get caught between two rival clans when Himawari swallows a pretty bead that turns out to be a mysterious ball with hidden powers.
