Noby’s life is changed forever the day Doraemon, a cat-like robot from the future, pops out of a time portal in his top desk drawer. Doraemon has been sent back in time by Noby’s great great grandson, Soby, to change Noby’s legendarily tragic life for the better – thereby improving the life of all of his descendants. Unfortuantely, underachiever Noby seems to cause a great deal of his own misfortune, and the addition of an endless supply of futuristic gadgets from Doraemon’s 4th dimensional pocket usually creates even more trouble.

That jumbled piece of architecture, that cacophony of hissing steam and creaking joints, with smoke billowing from it as it moves on its own… That castle is home to the magnificent wizard Howl, infamous for both his magical prowess and for being a womanizer—or so the rumor goes in Sophie Hatter’s small town. Inspector Gadget is a clumsy, dim-witted human cyborg detective with various bionic gadgets built into his body. Gadget stumbles around working the cases while his niece and dog do most of the investigating. Gadget’s arch-nemesis is Dr. Claw, the leader of an evil organisation, known as “M.A.D.”

Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of the adult Goku who, along with his companions, defends the earth against an assortment of villains ranging from intergalactic space fighters and conquerors to unnaturally powerful androids and near indestructible magical creatures. While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Goku through childhood into adulthood, Dragon Ball Z is a continuation of his adulthood life, but at the same time parallels the maturation of his son, Gohan, as well as other characters from Dragon Ball and more. The separation between the series is also significant as the latter series takes on a more dramatic and serious tone.
